Beyond Hunger, Oak Park, IL - Healthy Chef Challenge June 2023

This video summarizes the Healthy Chef Challenge event held by Beyond Hunger of Oak Park, IL, held in June 2023. This fun evening featured two separate cooking competitions by local chefs who each had 30 minutes to create and prepare a meal from a typical bag of food handed out to community members in need. Those meals were then presented to a panel of local food experts who judged the winners. In between the two chef challenges a paddle-raise auction was held to help raise additional money. This food pantry organization serves the greater Oak Park area, which is immediately west of the City of Chicago.
